OctoberLAN 2003 was held on the 12th-14th of December, due to various things happening earlier in the year interfering.
Fun was had by all during the three-day event, and surprisingly there were few problems throughout the LAN.
We've picked up a few things for next year though (more power, backup dhcp server, etc) but all in all, it went well.
Too bad that the hardware we had wasn't up to the task of sharing a 1.5Mbit connection between over 50 people. Oh well. It was really fast
when our hardware worked though.
Oh, and next year we need a better camera. We took over 50 shots of the LAN, but less than a dozen are suitable for use, the rest are out
of focus and otherwise screwed up due to a bad camera.
