Joining the Library Over the Internet

This is a feature of the store which is currently under development. It will eventually possible to join the library from a remote location and swap your games through the mail. Each of the library games are held in regulation size postage containers for easy mailing. As our customers can possibly have each title for as long as they wish and trade as they wish, we do not reserve titles for customers. Each selection made is on a first in first served basis.

How does the library work?

The Software Library is designed to save you money. Initially you pay a larger fee to acquire access to the library. When you are finished with the title that you have chosen from the library, you may return it and get another game from the library for a small change over fee. This allows you to play more games for less money.

Standard Library Access:   $132.00 (Access to all Library titles)
Limited Library Access:   $25.00   (Access to Playstation and DVD titles only)

(Your initial purchase includes access to the library for 1 year from date of purchase, and your game)

Service fees (To be paid at the exchange of your game):
Standard - $5.50 (All titles except PSX and DVD)
Limited - $2.50 (PSX and DVD titles)

Other Benefits

All of our retail stock is discounted to library members with current access. These prices are called access prices and can save you a lot of money on all software and hardware purchases.

Notes

Other fees like broken jewel cases etc may apply, but will be charged to the cost of the replacement. We will only swap games if your game is in as good a condition as when you bought it. The game you have is the game you own. After the first year of your library access a smaller renewal fee will apply. Approximately half of a new membership which will be around $66.00 ($15.00 for Limited Membership).

Refund Policy

We will refund your library game but still allow access to discount prices on any retail item where applicable.

How does this work? Gamer's Valhalla will refund the amount of unused library access based on $1.00 per day usage (with a minimum of 10 days) plus the normal service fee. For example if you paid $132.00 for library access and after 3 weeks you want to stop trading, then it would be calculated as follows.

Example 1 - For 21 days of access:
Access price: $132.00
Less 21 days at $1.00: $21.00
Less Trade Fee: $5.50

Your Refund: $105.50

Example 2 - For 5 days of access:
Access price: $132.00
Less 5 days at $1.00: $10.00 (Minimum of 10 days)
Less Trade Fee: $5.50

Your Refund: $116.50

Who would use this service?

This service was designed for two situations:
- If the children are only home for 3 weeks holiday and they want access to the library. This allows you to use the service for three weeks but then return the game for a refund, therefore saving you money.
- If you would like try out the library at very little risk. Gamer's Valhalla is giving gamers and parents more games and programs for less cost.
All of our services are aimed at saving you money.

Note: This allows access to the library for a period of up to 1 year. Although you have the advantage of up to 131 days (Calculated of $132.00 access entry) with some amount of refund if you no longer require the service.

Library Refund Policy only applies to full library purchase price, it does not apply to any special offer, promotions or discount offers.
