Gamers Valhalla Closing

Gamers Valhalla has ceased trade.
We are no longer able to give the business the attention it deserves, and it was starting to ruin the experience for everyone involved.
We have moved into Salty's Arcade, next door, to continue development of our software product, WebTraf.
Previously, we were developing, testing, marketing, and trying to sell WebTraf out of the back of GV. As development progressed, we found that it was becoming extremely difficult to run GV while developing WebTraf.
As such, we have decided to cease trade at GV and focus on WebTraf until such time as the product is well established, and we no longer have to baby-sit it at all times.
This does mean we will try and bring back Gamers Valhalla in the future, when WebTraf is established, so don't give up hope!

Great news for those wanting X-Box games from the library.

Friday night Gaming

Friday night Gaming

Friday night has rolled around once again, I get out my trusty Polariod 640 "Fun Flash" camera. It's recorded a lot of "Fun" in it's short history. My bump of trouble is tingling, I had better wash down my bourbon supper with a bourbon chaser. The moment I reach of the top drawer of my desk where I keep my "dessert" the phone rings, I'm torn.

Although dessert sounds oh so appertising, the phone call could be important, I let the phone ring a few more times, just for spite. It's my informatin "Big J", he tells me that something is going to go down at Gamer's Valhalla tonight.

I hang up the phone, the thought of money dominating my thoughts. That P.I. course held by the Captain Krunch Cracker Jack company has finally pulled through for me. I hitch a ride into town, only having to show a bit of leg only once. As I rock up to my final destination, I can hear the cries of anguish bellowing from inside the store. My informant was right, something was definetly going down tonight. I check the batteries in my camera. The battery meter rises to a quarter of it's full strength. It'll have to do. I pull on my best marlon brando expression as I stroll through the automatic doors like I owned the place.

What I saw then totally knocked me for a sixer, there were people everywhere playing counter-strike - a popular team oriented comptuer game - where the object is either to rescue hostages or to plant/defuse a bomb. The place was packed I could see now that "big J" was right on the money, I whipped out my trusty polariod and took as many snap-shots as my budget no-frills batteries allowed. Click on the image above to see the other snap-shots I took on the night. Asking around I later found out that there were 2 major clans warring on the night. Clan KATO and Clan YARD. A zT clan member Toady dominated the night with his oh-so-accurate sniper shooting. KATO clan leader slim shady dominated the knife awards. I left the store a few hours later, a job well done. Finally I can have my "dessert"...

P.I.Meter for the Night:- 7.5/10

Quote of the night - "Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" ... Vamp

Just some fun we have on our regular friday night LANNAGE at Gamer's Valhalla.

By the way, I never did get my dessert... but that's another story for another time...
